Cookie policy

This website uses no profiling cookies and no third-party tracking tools. As things stand it installs no cookies at all: that’s why you see no banner.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a site can place on your device to store information: some are needed for the site to work (“technical” cookies), others reconstruct a user’s preferences and behaviour for commercial or analytics purposes (“profiling” cookies and other tracking tools).

The rules

In Italy the use of cookies is governed by Article 122 of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and by the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021. The basic rule: technical cookies require only a notice; non-technical cookies — profiling, tracking, non-anonymised analytics — require the user’s prior consent, usually collected through a banner.

How this site uses cookies

As things stand, this site installs no cookies — neither its own nor third-party ones: no profiling, no analytics service, no advertising or social pixel, no infrastructure cookie set during browsing.

In practice:

  • No tracking scripts: the site runs no analytics or third-party code.
  • No data stored to track you: the only local storage is a technical display preference for the insights archive (list or grid view), saved in your browser’s localStorage, with no identifiers and no tracking.
  • Fonts are hosted on the site itself: loading the pages involves no requests to third-party servers.
  • No embedded content: the site integrates no third-party videos, maps or widgets that could install tracking.
  • The contact form transmits data only when you choose to press “Send message”: the processing is described in the privacy policy.

Why you see no banner

The banner exists to collect consent, and consent is required only for non-technical cookies and tracking tools. This site uses none: accordingly, in line with the Authority’s guidelines, no banner is necessary — and there is none.

How to control cookies from your browser

You can in any case manage or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings (usually under “Privacy and security”), where you can also block their installation, in whole or in part. The instructions vary depending on the browser you use.

If anything changes

If in future the site introduced measurement tools or third-party services, this page will be updated before they are activated and, where required, a consent request compliant with the Authority’s guidance will appear.
