Area 03 · For businesses and professionals

General legal advice

Written opinions, contracts, due diligence and ongoing support for SMEs, startups, freelancers and international clients. Strictly out-of-court work, in Italian and English.

Who it’s for

Who turns to the practice

SMEs and startups

Businesses with no in-house legal team that nonetheless sign contracts every week: they need a stable point of reference, with predictable time and cost.

Freelancers and professionals

Those who work project by project, with foreign clients too: engagement letters, NDAs and terms that protect the work, in Italian and English.

Public bodies and authorities

Offices and public bodies that, beyond tenders, need opinions, contracts and instruments on day-to-day matters, with verified legal references.

Recurring cases

The problems we solve

  • There’s a contract to sign soon and no one has really read it, clause by clause.
  • The foreign client sends a twenty-page agreement in English: what are you accepting?
  • The e-commerce launches in a month and the terms, withdrawal rights and warranties are missing.
  • A civil or commercial question needs a well-founded answer, not a superficial one.
  • The team uses AI tools every day, but no internal rule says how.

The output is always a written document: a reasoned opinion, a contract reviewed point by point, a policy the team can actually follow.

The services

From the opinion to the signature

Opinions and legal analyses

Civil and commercial questions examined in writing: legal framework, risks, practical options. A document to decide on, not an opinion over the phone.

Contracts

Drafting and reviewing B2B and B2C contracts: supply, collaboration, NDAs, remote work, e-commerce terms and conditions. Clear clauses, imbalances flagged before signing.

Documentary due diligence

Analysis of document and contract sets: what’s there, what’s missing, what exposes you. A concise report with intervention priorities.

Ongoing support for SMEs and startups

A stable legal point of reference: agreed scope, defined response times, no surprise costs. In English too, for those working abroad.

Training and outreach

Lectures, webinars and training materials on public contracts and privacy, for public offices, companies and professional bodies.

AI compliance

Integrating AI tools into legal and administrative processes: internal usage policies, risk assessment, compliance of data flows.

Tailored engagements

Every engagement starts from a written scope: what’s included, timing, fee. From a single opinion to ongoing support, no surprises on the invoice.

How it works

Three steps, in writing

  1. Request

You send us the document or describe the question: what it’s about, what you have to decide, by when.

  2. Analysis

We examine the texts and the legal framework and propose the scope, timing and fee in writing. Once the quote is approved, we begin.

  3. Delivery

You receive the opinion, the contract or the policy, with the points to watch highlighted. We stay available for revisions and follow-ups.

Opinions and contracts in English too, for dealings with foreign clients and suppliers. Everything remotely as well, across Italy.

A clear boundary

Out-of-court work only

This area covers out-of-court advisory work only: no acts reserved to regulated professions, no representation before a court or an arbitrator. If the matter calls for a defence counsel, we tell you straight away and refer you to qualified professionals.

Knowing it up front is part of doing the job seriously: that’s why you find it written here — and on every page of this website.
